Washington Redskins Birthday Cake

Eggless Vegan custom birthday cake for a Washington Redskins fan! Snickerdoodle cake with caramel filling & mocha buttercream

Here's a birthday cake made for a Washington Redskins fan! The client requested the cake be eggless hence we used our exclusive egg free vegan cake recipe to make a snickerdoodle cake with caramel dulce de leche filling & a yummy coffee mocha espresso buttercream textured on the outside!

The Redskins logo is an edible image photo print, with a simple birthday message. The client was super happy with the cake and it received rave reviews from the whole family!

Eggless Vegan First Birthday Cake & Cupcakes - Toy Box cake!

First Birthday Cake in the shape of the birthday boy's favorite toy box! Eggless Vegan birthday cake & all edible handmade decoration

Here's a sweet first birthday cake made to look like the birthday boy's favorite toy box, along with edible cake pop balls that he likes playing with!

The mom also wanted a page from his favorite book, with the #1 representing his age. The cake was all eggless/vegan - Banana cake with banana buttercream filling & fondant decoration.

The order also included vegan/eggless cupcakes in our gourmet flavor combinations! Cookies & Cream cupcakes with a Nutella-Oreo filling & vanilla buttercream & Salted caramel cupcakes with a salted caramel sauce filling & salted caramel buttercream! Yum!

Rustic Textured Buttercream Fall Wedding Cake at Morais Vineyards, Warrenton VA

Vineyards are a popular venue for beautiful weddings, and this wedding at Morais Vineyards in Warrenton, Virginia was no less!

Cupcake Novelties created an elegant 4-tier wedding cake, to serve 175 people, iced with rustic textured buttercream along with an edible handmade carved heart with the bride & groom's initials.

All four tiers were our delicious made from scratch carrot cake, using fresh ingredients, including 8 lbs of organic carrots, grated by hand!

The cake was filled and iced with yummy cream cheese buttercream and placed on a wine barrel cake stand, perfect for a lovely vineyard wedding!

All the guests and the wedding couple loved the wedding cake, and we received a note full of praise from the bride!

The bride also ordered a surprise Groom's cake a day before the wedding, at Morais Vineyards for the rehearsal dinner. It was an unusual cake, in the shape of a Cheetos chips bag! More on that soon!!

Turquoise & Pearl Wedding Cupcakes Tower at Briar Patch B&B, Middleburg

This wedding cupcake tower was for a beautiful turquoise & pearl/silver wedding at Briar Patch Bed & Breakfast Inn in Middleburg, VA.

The bride was using turquoise blue, silver, pearl & white decoration and accents in her wedding decor, and wanted the Cupcake Tower to reflect that as well.

The cupcakes were assorted flavors and the cutting cake on top was covered in shimmery pearl fondant, with a turquoise blue ribbon border, and a fresh white calla lily flower, incorporated from the wedding floral decor. The cake topper was provided by the bride.

Red Velvet cupcakes with cream cheese buttercream

Snickerdoodle cupcakes with cinnamon spice buttercream

Chocolate-Vanilla Marble cupcakes with vanilla buttercream

Custom Decorated Sugar Cookies for Christening / Baptism Favors

These pretty and elegant Cross cookies were made for a Christening/Baptism ceremony as favors for the guests.

The client wanted a shimmery pearl look on the cookies, along with a quilted effect with edible sugar pearls for an elegant sophisticated look!

These custom decorated sugar cookies were wrapped up individually with ivory ribbon, and handed out as favors for the guests after the christening ceremony.

PupCakes! Dog cupcakes and cakes in Winchester VA

If you are looking for a cute and delicious sweet treat for your dogs and pups, you've come to the right place!

Cupcake Novelties was recently asked if I made cupcakes and cakes for dogs, and yes, I had done quite a few pupcakes for friends' doggies! The concept took off, and people loved having these personalized custom cupcakes and cakes for their doggy friends!

I make my PupCakes using fresh organic ingredients, including carrots, bananas, peanut butter and wholesome ingredients, so you know exactly what you are feeding your pups - no preservatives or chemicals!

Here is a batch of PupCakes dog cupcakes ordered for a Valentine's Day gift for doggies. The client messaged me saying she shared the PupCakes with her neighborhood dogs as well and they all loved them!

Rustic Burlap & Twine Wedding Cake at the Millwood Station Event Center

Rustic wedding cakes have been very popular the last couple of years, and the trend is still going strong this year!!

Something about the textured look - soft billowy peaks of delicious light buttercream, creates an approachable personable elegant cake that everyone loves!

This wedding was at the Millwood Station Event Center, near Costco, in Winchester. The wedding cake was for 100 people, and the bride & groom also got a small anniversary cake boxed up separately.

For this wedding cake, the bride chose to use burlap and twine around the cake tiers, to tie in the burlap and twine that was being used in the wedding decor.

The wedding favors had the same twine bow around each favor, and looked perfect with the theme!

The bottom tier was a delicious spice cake and the top two tiers were red velvet cake - all filled and covered with light & yummy cream cheese buttercream. The wedding couple & their guests loved the cake, which is what we aim for with every order!

There was a cute surprise Groom's cake with this wedding as well - more pics on that coming soon!

Cupcake Novelties at the Blue Ridge Bridal Show Winchester 2014!

Cupcake Novelties was a part of the Blue Ridge Bridal Show held on January 26, 2014 at the Millwood Station Event Center, near Costco, Winchester.

This is the 9th year that the Blue Ridge Bridal Show is being held, and it is a great show every year! This was the 3rd year for Cupcake Novelties with the show, and it only gets better each time!

Brides & grooms, their moms and friends, as well as fellow vendors loved our display, and it was lovely to meet them all!

We also got a lot of compliments on our yummy cake samples -

New cake and cupcake designs for the year debuted at this show!

A vintage ivory wedding cake with ruffles, a quatrefoil pattern & elegant pearls

Rustic textured buttercream cake with raffia and sunflowers - great for a country, barn or rustic Fall wedding!

A Half & Half wedding cake - one side depicted a white and blush pink floral design, and the other side depicted Batman!! People loved this concept!

A pink 2-tier cake with buttercream ruffles roses on the bottom tier and a quilted design with pearls on the top tier - this can be a wedding cake or a cutting cake on a cupcake tower!

We also had cupcakes, cake pops and Chocolate-covered Oreos designs on display!
